Form 2 Fashion is committed to providing a healthy and safe learning environment for its students. We are dedicated to the objective of eliminating the possibility of injury and sickness.
Educators are trained and held responsible for ensuring that the students, under their supervision, follow this policy. They are accountable for ensuring that students use safe work practices and receive training to protect their health and safety.
Educators review the safety rules with students individually and as a class to ensure proper precautions are taken when using equipment like sewing machines.
Form 2 Fashion has a 3 student to 1 teacher maximum ratio for students using the sewing machine. This ensures our teachers can give the utmost attention to students' work and safety practices.
In case of an emergency, the instructor will immediately contact the student's parent or guardian and take the student to the appropriate medical provider.
Form 2 Fashion recognizes the student’s duty to identify hazards, and supports and encourages students to play an active role in identifying hazards and to offer suggestions or ideas to improve the health and safety program.
